1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of property maintenance and handyman services by Prime Property Innovations (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to you, the customer (“you” or “your”).
By requesting or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not proceed with our services.
2. Our Services
We provide a range of handyman and property maintenance services, including but not limited to repairs, installations, painting, decorating, and general maintenance. The exact scope of work will be confirmed in writing before any job begins.
3. Estimates and Quotes
- All estimates and quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are based on the information you provide and may be subject to revision following a site visit or discovery of unforeseen issues.
- We reserve the right to charge for additional work required beyond the initial scope, but we will always obtain your approval before proceeding.
4. Booking and Cancellations
- Bookings are made via phone, email, or through our website.
- If you wish to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a £30 cancellation fee to cover our costs.
5. Access and Safety
- You are responsible for providing safe and adequate access to the premises at the agreed time.
- Any delays caused by lack of access may result in additional charges.
- We reserve the right to refuse to carry out work if there are health or safety concerns.
6. Materials and Parts
- We may supply materials as part of the service or use materials provided by you.
- Any guarantees on materials supplied by us will be passed on to you where applicable.
- We are not responsible for faults caused by defective materials supplied by you or third parties.
7. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment is due on completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For larger jobs, a deposit or staged payments may be required.
- We accept payment via cash, bank transfer, or card (where facilities are available).
- Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
8. Warranty and Liability
- We warrant our workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion.
- This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, or third-party interference.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided and does not cover indirect or consequential losses.
9. Insurance
We hold appropriate public liability insurance to cover accidental damage or injury caused by our work. A copy of our insurance certificate is available upon request.
10. Complaints
We aim to deliver high-quality service. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 7 days of the work being completed. We will investigate and work with you to resolve any issues fairly and promptly.
11. Intellectual Property
All written content, designs, and materials created or provided by us remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to carry out our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including weather conditions, illness, supply chain disruption, or legal restrictions.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
